Don't Be a Wall Hugger!

With the recent release of the Samsung Galaxy S7, we were reminded of a campaign we really liked: Samsung’s campaign for the Galaxy S5.

We’re about to launch our fully rebranded website to showcase what we think makes Ultimate Edge Communications shine, and campaigns like this inspire us to discover our own uniqueness.

With this ad, Samsung brilliantly showcased a key benefit of choosing their phone. The benefit was simple enough: You won’t have to huddle near a power point to use it when your battery is low!

Samsung did their homework and they found a pain point.They found something that was driving people crazy about a popular competitor, and they knew they had a solution. In a short ad, they manage to show what the problem is, what the solution is, how the solution works and most importantly, what makes Samsung shine.

If you’re a business owner, this ad is a valuable lesson not only in strong advertising, but great positioning. It’s a great example of a brand showing off their uniqueness, clearly and powerfully.
