My selection of Do’s & Don’ts to keep you on track for 2015 are:

  • DON’T be a part of the overload of meaningless content on websites, Youtube & social media – invest the time to create solid & effective Media Campaigns that speak TO your audience & not AT them.
  • DON’T look for the brightest, best, most innovative, new shiny place to advertise – there is no PERFECT marketing strategy in one PERFECT medium – you have to take in all aspects of your brand & your customers to create the PERFECT solution overall which is highly likely to incorporate multiple media streams.
  • DON’T ‘set & forget’ – you can’t afford to be lazy or ‘play it safe’ in the current media landscape.
  • DO have fun with it – experiment, try new things – you’re human too so chances are an idea or concept that you find BRILLIANT may just be what your customers think is BRILLIANT!
  • DO question your media agency/marketing team to find the best solutions & campaigns as you go – things change quickly as you know so you have to be ready & ‘ahead of the game’ as much as possible.
