As marketers, we know the importance of a personalised message and the effect it can have on the intended recipient. But in everyday life it’s becoming a dying art form.

7 in 10 people believe that handwriting helps them to be more aware of their thoughts and feelings. This further supports the results of the Australian study which found that just 15 – 20 minutes of writing daily can relieve stress, fear and anxiety.

As we officially begin counting down to Christmas, it’s time to reflect on the true spirit of the season. Sending Christmas cards to family and friends around Australia and overseas with a personal message is becoming a dying tradition. It doesn’t have to. Make it a point to reach out and reconnect with people that matter with a personal message for the festive season. Do the same with your business clients, a personalised message goes a long way.
