We’re looking for a driven, entrepreneurial and results-focused Digital Media Wizard/Ninja to add to our team of media buyers across offline and online channels.

Here’s what we need from you

• You have at least 3 years digital media buying experience.
• You know the digital media buying tools/platforms inside-out.
• You have short cuts and go-to strategies that work for you day in, day out.
• You know the steps to launch campaigns so well, you could almost execute them blindfolded.
• You have a daily optimisation routine to test, tweak and re-align campaign parameters to make the metrics produce market-beating results that prove you’re a technical magician.
• You’re one step ahead of the curve when it comes to data analysis, it’s as if the numbers speak to you in their own secret language. You know the stats without reading the reports.
• You know that Artificial Intelligence is artificial because it still takes a human brain to interpret the data into actionable insights for our clients and their target audience(s).

You’ve mastered metrics, with a focus on client ROI. You thrive working in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of digital media with an insatiable appetite to gradually and strategically expand your career into full campaign management and activations.
Your greatest skill is going way beyond the numbers to understand the levers that drive the business forward. This means you know the adjustments to be made as the campaign or the business progresses from the top line (brand/products) awareness or discovery phase through to consideration and (cash) purchase phases.

Even though you are autonomous and work exceptionally well on your own, you know and appreciate your fellow team members. You know that working collaboratively with clients is key because they are your direct link to what’s happening in their day-to-day business.

Your key responsibilities

• You have to be a great communicator. You will be customer-facing and you need to be able to get your various messages across to both technical and non-technical (business) people.
• Mastery of the digital media landscape, including the ability to select the best media channels to suit each client’s objectives including all digital media strategy, planning, buying and activation for clients.
• Proficiency in DoubleClick suite, Google Analytics, Google AdWords and Facebook.
• Responding to briefs to prepare strategy recommendations to achieve client outcomes.
• Assessing strengths and weaknesses of various traditional and digital platforms relating to the client brief and objectives.
• Ability to analyse and interpret what the data from advertising campaigns is revealing to help inform decisions for future campaigns.
• Experience working with media budgets of $1-10 million with a steadfast focus on ROI.
• Ability to manage budgets across multiple publishers and optimise towards the best performers dynamically, in real time.
• Execute A/B testing of campaigns and creative elements.
• Setup tracking links for on-going metrics analysis and provide seamless end-of-month reporting.
• Monthly, and in some cases, weekly client reporting.
• Monthly reconciliation of media publisher invoices for client invoicing and reporting.
• Reporting and campaign management, using our systems (Workflow Max, Xero and
• Strategic and tactical justification for your media spend recommendations.
• Ability to interpret raw data to deliver successful communication campaigns, it would be great, but not necessary to have knowledge of the Tableau data visualisation tool.
• Help our clients achieve a single view of their customers’ journey from the first impression right through to conversion and repeat purchases.
