After a very busy February for Ultimate Edge Communications, what better way to end the month than to partake in Mennt’s Porcelain Hand Building Workshop!
The team were introduced to the basics of handling porcelain and were taught the intricacies of pinch-pot, coil pot and slab pot making. We were able to successfully hand build coffee cups and trinket dishes, inspired by ceramic artists such as Kirsten Perry. Not only has this social event made us develop an appreciation for sculptural works, but for each other as well.
Fingers crossed our handmade porcelain coffee cups will be usable in our office!
